To establish a crude palm oil–based biodiesel manufacturing process for use in the Congo, the project team modified an existing biodiesel processor to improve safety and efficiency, developed a long–term plan for project sustainability, and developed refinement processes for crude palm oil.

The Brushless Motor Team has designed, built, and tested an axial–gap electric motor. The design is flexible for scaling the motor for specific applications, such as use on an electric wheelchair and motorcycle.

For the past few years the Messiah College Flying Club has been designing and building an LSA to provide an inexpensive alternative to currently available production aircraft. This two-seat airplane is designed for applications in remote locations. Our project’s focus was the dual control system, landing gear, and wing folding mechanism of the airplane.

This project covers the installation of a rotary engine into the fuselage of the Light Sport Aircraft. Specifically, our team developed an appropriate engine mount, cooling system, and exhaust system, as well as engine instruments and engine cockpit controls.
