So why am I Looking Up?

You know what? When I first decided to name my blog there was really no logic behind it. I had to create my account and get started so I just tried to select something that was at least a little bit creative other than what the computer generated (which was my e-mail). So I came up with Looking Up.
Looking up could have a lot of different meanings and I would like to keep you guessing but I suppose I will share some of my ideas of looking up. First off I like to think I am a bit of an optimist. Recently I have been struggling a little bit with that. But then I think what is the point of getting down on everything. So looking up, keeping your head held high and trying to look at the good things. I guess it could have a little bit of a spiritual meaning to it too. Looking up to see and reach up to the big guy. Hoping and praying that looking up and praying God will answer those prayers. And finally I think looking up could also mean just taking a deep breath looking into the beautiful sky and simply appreciating all we have been given.

It is homecoming this weekend at Messiah so campus will be busy. I plan on getting some rest in this weekend as the week turned out to be another extremely busy one and next week is looking about the same. I am not sure it will ever end. However….tonight I am getting all dressed up, going to the dance and having fun! Tomorrow I will probably catch the soccer game because they play Lycoming which is a home college so I will have to see if I know anyone.
