Individual classes within the Visual Arts Department have the opportunity to utilize the excellent gallery and museum resources of the four major metropolitan areas surrounding Harrisburg: Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York City. The Art Department sponsors a trip to New York City each fall where students can visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Guggenheim, the Cooper-Hewitt Museum of Design, and various galleries.
