photo shoot with the (poodle) princess
since monday i’ve been in south jersey with my girlfriend celebrating the new year and spending time with her family. i’ve had a wonderful time running around the cherry hill area excluding an unfortunate visit to the doctor for sandie-she has a sinus infection. one of my favorite moments was being able to pull out my shiny new nikon (still to be officially named) and snap photos along the way. below are two photos i took of sandie’s poodle around the house. she’s definitely a princess…and she knows it!

The dog’s a cutie, for sure.
However, I’ve seen that look before. Poodles are known to become bloodthirsty savages at the drop of a hat. I know, because I had one. She went berzerk one day on the mailman, and we didn’t get our L.L. Bean catalog for like a year or something. I had to hit Kmart for my backpack that year, and all they had left was pink. 12-year-old Scott went to middle school with a pink backpack, son. Talk about getting razzed. I didn’t have any friends until my sophomore year in high school when I put that bloodthirsty poodle in with our rival school’s mascot…a rooster. Nobody was watching the football game that night, mister. And I was a hero.
So give that dog a rawhide treat for me, will ya?
