So, it’s getting very close: we leave tomorrow at 2pm. We still haven’t gone shopping yet. We tried to earlier this evening, but it took us too long to eat dinner (Chinese!), and Rach had to go back and complete RA duties. So we are going to go shopping tonight.
The more we think about it, the more we realize just how little room there is going to be in the car. Rach and Erika are going to be going home straight after the trip, so they must having everything with them that they want to take home. The trunk is going to be completely packed.
None of us have really gotten caught up with sleep yet, and I don’t think we’re going to get much once we’re on the road. It should make things interesting…
(And thanks to the last entry, we do have a power-inverter. This means that we can write entries and charge the camera on the road. Thanks Tiff)

So, I’m starting to get very excited about this trip, now that all of our interviews are set. I still haven’t thought about packing or what to bring, at all, but, that shouldn’t take too long. We’re going to have to get together to figure out what everyone is planning on brining so we don’t have duplicates.
I think that we’ll probably bring Rach or Erika’s notebook so that we can write entries when we make stops. If we only had a power inverter we could write on the road.
This trip is definitely going to be a lot of fun. Rach and Erika have spent very little time in the city, so it should be exciting experiencing Baltimore and Philadelphia with them. Both Adam and I already enjoy and are comfortable with cities, so we should be good guides.
The only part that should be trying is spending so much time in Adam’s car: there isn’t much room, and the seats aren’t that comfortable. And I can imagine that we’re going to get a little tired of each other spending so much time with each other. But I think we’re going to have a great time overall.
