1/2 way there

We’ve made it almost half way to the Grand Canyon! Right now we’re at a McDonalds in Illinois, less than 50 miles from St. Louis. At the rate we’re going we expect to be in the Grand Canyon around 10 or 11 AM tomorrow. On our trip so far we’re seen lots of fields…and more fields…Indianapolis…and then more fields. It’s a lot different than the hilly landscape of Central PA. Surprisingly the trip so far has not been bad (except for getting lost within the first hour of leaving Christina’s house — Oops!). We’re all still in good spirits thanks to some well-deserved caffeine, good road snacks, and a couple long naps. Well, we better be on our way. More updates to come. Thanks for the prayers!
