Moving on. I came across Cabinet Magazine this past year and my view of magazines has never been the same. Their articles are dynamic and engaging and if you don’t want to pay the somewhat pricey cover cost of $10/issue you can satisfy your politics-and-culture-thirsting appetite at their website http://www.cabinetmagazine.org/
Lastly, many people peruse the pages of http://www.slate.com/ but their editorial column called “The Explainer” is arguably the best on the web. This column answers all of the few and far between questions you may have pertaining to the media and current events.
