Christmas Spirit

Yes, December means final project, papers, and exams, but Christmas at Messiah also is full of whole-hearted celebration!  Students decorate their rooms and their floors (and even compete annually  in a friendly “Deck the Halls” contest); there are Christmas concerts performed by many of the musical groups and ensembles; a special Christmas dinner hosted by Dining Services, and many residence halls host parties for their students.

I’m so glad to know my kids are in this positive environment. It’s amazing to be surrounded by people who are seeking always to understand what it means that “God is with us.” And that’s got to put finals into a very healthy perspective!
