We need a Fandango!

We need a volunteer to wear the Fandango costume for our upcoming Accepted Student Preview Days! We’ll have the mascot available at the end of each of the days to take pictures in the photobooth with our accepted students. Here are the dates and times:

Feb. 19                 3:30 -4:30 p.m.
Feb. 26                 3 -4 p.m.
March  4               3 – 4 p.m.
March 18             3 – 4 p.m.
April 1                   3:00 -4:00 p.m.

Your height must be between 5’9″ and 6’2″ to fit in the costume.

Spring Professional Development – March 16

Our spring professional development opportunity will be to learn more about the Experiential Learning Initiative (ELI). The event is scheduled for March 16 from 4:00 – 5:00 pm. It’s important for you to attend this event, as you will be expected to discuss this on future tours and panels.

Save The Date – Dinner at Orchard Hill on April 25

Please save the date for our year-end dinner at Orchard Hill with President Phipps. The dinner will be on Monday, April 25 from 6:00-8:00 pm. This will be an opportunity for us to wrap up the year for Ambassadors and recognize each of you for your service to Messiah College.

Summer Job in Admissions

The Admissions Office hires 8 students each summer to work 40 hours per week. The summer students give tours, travel to music festivals, participate in phoning efforts, and work on various office projects and recruitment efforts! If you are interested in summer employment opportunities in Admissions, contact Heather Keefer at HKeefer@messiah.edu. There will also be a summer employment opportunity fair the afternoon of February 11 in Hostetter Chapel.
